You Decide What the World Needs Now

We have had an incredible year at Lava Lake – our wool is part of the Design for a Living World exhibit at the Cooper-Hewitt Museum in New York, the pronghorn study we instigated is receiving national press, we are working with incredible partners through the Pioneers Alliance and Freedom to Roam, and we received national awards from the BLM and Forest Service as well as the Cecil D. Andrus Leadership Award from Sustainable Northwest.

On the ground, we continue to see amazing changes for the good: our coexistence work with wolves continues to go well, we have seen a 50% increase in species of riparian songbirds thanks to stream recovery across the landscape, and we continue to produce what we believe is the world’s finest grassfed lamb!

Lava Lake has put its name in the hat to try to win a vote-driven competition to win a Youtopia grant from Free Range Studios. This a huge opportunity for us to win up to $15,000 worth of design and/or strategic communications services from Free Range Studio’s offerings of strategy consulting, identity design, web design, print design and online movies.

We are listed in the environment and conservation section (and, yes, we are trying to get the misspelling of coexistence corrected). Remember, you can cast all three of your votes on us! And, equally important, pass on the encouragement to your friends and share this on Facebook and Twitter.

We have until December 1 to garner as many votes as possible and we could really use your support. Please check this out and vote!
